Yes they removed everybody onto the beach including staff there were lights and an announcement sort of like a fire drill but not a drill. I'm going to assume the comps were free flowing as I saw quite a few people removed from their meals and some guests removed from thier spa treatments

Dang! Why can't I ever be there when this stuff happens?

Just like people coming back from a cruise and getting stuck on the boat for a day or two then getting a couple free trips. Why can't I be so lucky!

Sorry I have no idea. We went to Epcot and stayed until closing and by that time things looked back to normal. We weren't staying there we were just passing through and the alarm went off and they ushered everybody out. My best guess is maybe some wiring problem or something else related to the construction
