We like Starbucks, and I'm super excited about being able to get a decent coffee in all the parks, and I think they're doing a good job of fitting them into their surroundings appropriately. But, would it kill them to put some tables and chairs out front of them??? Yeah, I know, it's a theme park, and people are rushing to rides and so forth, but you can't take a venti latte on a ride anyway. And for us, part of the experience of getting a coffee is sitting down, resting and visiting for a few minutes, people watching, etc. Also, if you get a muffin or sandwich, etc. iyou need somewhere to sit and eat it!

No in park Starbucks have any seating. I'm pretty sure this is done purposely. Each location seems to have two queue lines to make things go faster. There really isn't a whole lot of space outside the locations other than fountain view at Epcot for seating. DTD west side Starbucks does have indoor and outdoor seating.

There's a huge black ball rolling towards Magic Kingdom.

Luigis flying tires is rumored to officially close Feb. 13th. The ride was set to close in January but never did.

It's about time but resort specific merchandise is making a come back

Glad to hear this! The first trip that my wife and I had to WDW without the kids, back in the early 80s I think, we went to all the gift shops in the resorts, collecting beer mugs specific to that location. Not that there were many resorts at the time. Was a very relaxing trip and time, not having to rush from ride to ride with the little ones. Finding merchandise specific to each locale was fun and we still have all those mugs

Gotta love that they are spinning it as "Guest asked for more cars" as opposed to "guests thought this ride sucked". I am sure that Lassiter wasn't real happy about this, but at least he was honest that the ride didn't really work. We got to ride it on two trips. (We actually were there early enough that we got to try it with the beach balls.) It definitely wasn't the best of rides. Kind of a shame anytime they shutter a ride, but I have to imagine that it'll be an improvement.

Yes I agree it was lasseters love. It sounds like it will be sort of like an Aquatopia ride.

The Flying saucers' nostalgia wasn't reason enough to bring back the ride. It was expensive and difficult to operate, and it really wasn't that good. Lasseter probably insisted until he got away with it. The new ride looks lime some sort of... I don't know, trackless cars spinning around? We'll see.

Aquatopia works. It's not expected to be an E ticket just a complement to Radiator springs racers.
