I'm assuming most people think I'm Mickey because I like Mickey Mouse but actually it's because my Dad wanted to name me Michelle and my Mom would only agree if he agreed to call me Mickey as a nickname so he agreed...turns out I was in no way a "Mickey" and everyone called me Shelly or Shell as a kid...but I thought it at least worked as a screen name on the DIS boards...

Do we think Harmonious will premier by July 4? I’ll be there the week after and I already told my husband that I’m buying tickets to Epcot if it’s showing. I’d expect tickets to go FAST once they announce. I’m getting stressed just thinking about the park pass battle.

Have you already purchased tickets and not made your park passes? If that’s the case you really should make your park passes today. As far as Harmonious, it’s anyone’s guess at this point. But for a trip that is only 2 months out, make your park passes ASAP!

My guess is no. They might be able to have fireworks, but only if they can do it at multiple parks so that everyone doesn’t try to hop to Epcot. Maybe they’ll do a modified version of Epcot Forever.

I got it. However, I guess I'm an old timer now, since I went to Epcot within the first few years it was opened. I actually bought a stuffed SMRT-1 on my first trip. I wish I hadn't gotten rid of that. I have been wanting to comment on your name for a while now.

Scaffolding lines both platforms of the Polynesian resort monorail station.

Current work at the entrance of Disney's Polynesian Resort. New porte-cochère at the concrete columns. New monorail station being built too.

Seems like the roof peak is being staged for the new porte-cochère at the Polynesian. Seems like the peak will be built in this staging area, then put in place.

Current landscaping at a refurbished area of Polynesian Resort, and this same area when construction fence came down (seen Apr 18). Many of the new plants will grow very tall.
