Humm... I have not heard that? Not really sure how they would be able to submerge them, though? From what I understood, they produce fountains would be “covering them up” during the day.

Disney World's 50th spruce up continues with the rooftops of Fantasyland

Ok I’m getting psyched! Back in 2019 floating around in the rumors for the 50th were 2 things I really thought were solid. One was Main St Electrical Parade coming back for the celebration. The other was a new fireworks with a very special and important feature...
Projections around the park in MK!

That made sense to me. Pre virus the hub had already turned into a nightmare because everybody was competing to see the same projections. By having other projections playing say at Thunder Mtn and Space Mtn etc, it would offer other points of interest to help break up the crowds.

Now that I see the shiny lapis paint going on the rooftops in Fantasy Land, can’t help but wonder if those will display projections.

Don’t know! Hope so!

We're not parade people but when we went in 2006 we saw the Main St. Electrical parade. It's one of the strongest memories my boys have from that trip when they were 10 and 8. It would be awesome to see again!

I kind of thought the timing of Magic Happens over at DL was perfect... feb 2020- summer 2021, THEN transfer to WDW for the 18 month limited time celebration, before heading back to DL.
