Sorry to go OT here, but I lived in the HV many, many years ago. (mid 70's) I went to New Paltz and stayed in the area for a few more years. I even lived in an 18th century stone house! Beautiful area and I loved the mountains. (although I missed the ocean, having grown up on LI, not too far from the beach)
Anyhow, I retained that bit of HM info as well.

I did not know about the origin of Zippity Doo Dah and thanks for sharing that. I love that song, but my association is solely from the happy feelings I used to get on the ride. (Sadly, I can't ride it anymore because of my back) I hope the re-theming tells a complete story. I loved how there were the scary elements, then the drop, and then a happy ending. I think that was one of the reasons it was my favorite ride.
