MNSSHP is good, but I'm more interested in November stuff - Christmas Party? After Hours at MK or AK? Candlelight Processional (and dining packages)? I know, I know, I need patience for them to get stuff figured out, and make adjustments.... but, I'm a planner, and after canceling my April Trip, re-booking, and now severely different projected hours, experiences, etc., I've made and torn up 5 different daily plans.... LOL.... How can I make #6 with no advanced info????
I think it may be a computer system change they needed to make to implement Genie, but I don’t expect them to launch the Touring Plans like features initially, as they will be largely unnecessary until capacity is increased.Do people think the new reservation system is the genie thing they were supposed to be rolling out at some point anyway or at least something that connects to that?
I have an AP and 3 trips booked and have received no emails! I have 2 room-only trips and 1 package trip. I'm getting worried. I did get an email from my Dreams Unlimited agent this morning warning me about all of the news. Come on, Disney.....throw me a bone here!!
To be honest .. it seems all over the place. They just must be going through their database and sending things out randomly or based on other factors we can't determine. Not getting the e-mail shouldn't be a big deal .. who knows when they will have this reservation system in place. As long as you "in the system" to make your reservations "first" you'll probably be fine.I'm not AP but I do have multiple trips and I never even got the email saying "whoops! we had to cancel your dining reservations/dining plan" email. It may just be that they're overwhelmed and it's going to take a while to get to everyone. OR there could be other factors involved? I'd be really curious to conduct a survey looking at these variables:
1. When people receive the email
2. Are you an AP holder?
3. When did you book your earliest trip?
4. Do you have room, tickets, a package, a dining plan, dining reservations?
5. Are you a DVC member?
6. What resort are you staying in, if any?
7. What state/country are you coming from?
8. What month/year is your earliest stay booked for?
9. Do you belong to any other "affinity group" or special group? (this might include travel agent, blogger, influencer)
...I think those are the variables I'm most curious about knowing how they might prioritize.

I received the email that I posted above yesterday.
2. Are you an AP holder?
Yes but it hasn’t been activated yet.
3. When did you book your earliest trip?
I booked my April trip as a bounce back when I was there in November.
4. Do you have room, tickets, a package, a dining plan, dining reservations?
I cancelled my April trip in March. They refunded my resort deposit, the park hoppers and our DAH tickets. I cancelled my own dining reservations.
5. Are you a DVC member?
No
6. What resort are you staying in, if any?
Last trip was book at the Poly. Club level TPV.
7. What state/country are you coming from?
New Jersey
8. What month/year is your earliest stay booked for?
I cancelled everything. With a 2nd spike expected in the fall, not sure when we’ll feel safe traveling and hanging out in crowds.

Yep we have a thread discussing all of this and more.I received this email yesterday but I don’t have a trip planned. We were supposed to stay at the Poly at the end of April but I got a refund for that trip in March. I still have an AP that I was planning to activate on that trip. It’s still not activated but doesn’t expired until 2030. That’s probably why I got this email...
An Important Walt Disney World Update
As we plan for the reopening of our Disney Resort Hotels and Theme Parks, we are keeping the wellbeing of our Guests and Cast in mind. And we’re here to help you as we introduce new procedures focused on delivering an enjoyable and magical experience for everyone who visits.
To manage attendance and foster physical distancing during this unprecedented time, we will be changing and suspending some Park experiences. In addition, we will also be introducing a new Theme Park reservation system.
Unfortunately, these new measures have required us to cancel any FastPass+ selections you may have made. We recognize the inconvenience this poses and we’re deeply sorry.
However, because you have valid Theme Park admission, you will have access to the Theme Park reservation system before new tickets are sold to other Guests. There’s nothing you need to do at this time. We’ll be contacting you soon with details on this new system.
At this time, while systems update, we are temporarily suspending all modifications. However, you have the option of canceling your entire reservation.

Am I reading this right? Does anyone have any idea how many they will allow AP holders to have? Enough to cover all the days of a trip? Can we get enough to go to more than one park per day - or is that not allowed??

I'm ok with this, ONLY because I am 99% sure Disney is going to extend our passes generously beyond the amount of time it was closed and like this. If I had to guess, I think they will extend us for the amount of time between March 15 (Park closure) and whatever date they take reservations away, maybe sometime in September? So even though the parks will have been closed for 3 months, I expect to have our passes extended 4-7 months. I have seen some people say Universal already extended their passes 4 months, even though they were only closed 2 months.
If you paid for a Platinum Pass with zero block out dates, I expect to be given at the bare minimum 365 days of unrestricted access. As a CM I only purchased the thing to avoid DHS blackouts for Star Wars and Spring Break/Christmas weeks. To be honest it has already paid for itself though. The main thing was the GE Blackouts and we've probably been to DHS 30 times since RotR opened and ridden it at least a dozen times. It's easily our favorite and most attended park. MK is just so much more of a hassle that we end up at Studios all the time.
