We rode it 3 times during a 2 week period in September, and we didn't receive paper FP's either. The camera didn't work at all.

While I LOVE the Judi Dench narration, I much preferred the old ending to the this one. We thought the little "future" story and photo was pretty lame, and it never did seem to line up the faces with the cartoon bodies anyway.

My sister and I would always make weird faces to make the end video more interesting, so not having that working was a bummer. I still miss the Jeremy Irons narration, so we usually choose to hear it in German (or occasionally French or Spanish) instead.

Wait, I know I'm late to the party, but they were handing out Fast Passes for Spaceship Earth because the camera that takes your picture to put you in the descending scene wasn't working?

I can't imagine another reason - since our ride never stopped or experienced any other technical issues. We didn't ask why and didn't take the passes - but there were 2 CMs at the exit handing out paper FPs.

Now that's pretty strange. There have been multiple times when we have gotten stuck on that ride (my favorite is when we get stuck in the "Rome is burning" scene. I love that smell, no sarcasm intended) and were greeted with a smile and a wave goodbye as we exited. I wouldn't even consider the camera not working as "bad show" as you can still pick you future and watch the animated people live it out.

The ride stops frequently for wheelchairs/handicap. If you are on the ride and it stops for 2-3 minutes, that's the likely reason. I would say it stops for this more often than not when I ride it. A longer stop is a breakdown. Or some moron standing up on the ride. (We've had those too.)

We're told that there would be an 8TRAX night with 70's & 80's music, there would be a Mannequins night with Dance music, there would even be a Comedy Warehouse night!

That would be simply awesome though can I be first to say Adventurer's Club night would have me moving to Florida.

I wouldn't move there, but it might encourage my search for Beach Club or Boardwalk DVC points. I do love the idea of PI-themed nights.
