Yes! It's been happening for a couple of days now. I use Chrome. Just glad it's not just me. It's getting annoying, especially when typing a post.

You might want to clear your cookies and stuff. I believe that helped one of our moderators who had the same problem otherwise check the tech issues board to see if others are having problems like this and I'm sure there is a way to resolve it. I haven't had any problems on my iPad or phone on safari.

The back of EE was painted a bit to at least try and blend it in with the mountain. Sure you can tell it's not a mountain but at least it doesn't look like a boring show building.

I realize that, I posted the pic, its a brown matching building (not green). But there is no way it looks like a mountain in back.

It was discussion they would maybe grow trees etc to help hide Pandora's building (they still might), but again-they might just leave it a visible building (like they did with EE), heck yea paint it if they want to help, like they did in the EE photo I posted, which agreed was not green.

I would think maybe vines as well since there are so many on the front.

It's not totally ok on my android using chrome either now that I think about it. Not as often, but it does sometimes flash black, just when I'm on the dis. So I'm guessing it's something to do with the the boards and how it interacts with chrome.

Very possible. It's been a while since I've used the disboards on chrome.

It worked for me to delete my cookies, browsing history, etc and I only use chrome on my laptop. I was having issues throughout today with the top page not loading on the main DIS boards page so I wasn't able to see my alerts. I could select a thread and then the alerts would display correctly but only then. I deleted my cookies, browsing history, etc twice (a few hrs apart) and voila it's working again. DIS boards was the only website to be having issues displaying the full page.

I'm only accessing DIS boards on my laptop though haven't tried on my android phone.

I was having issues throughout today with the top page not loading on the main DIS boards page so I wasn't able to see my alerts. You can see the Forbidden Journey show building from the park, which for me is a much bigger issue. As massively cool as Hogwarts is, it is really distracting to have an even bigger white block right behind it.

Sometimes this happens with a rogue advertisement. You can try an ad blocking extension or a VPN to see if it fixes your problem. Because ads are so targeted these days it can happen to one person all the time and never or rarely for a different person because they simply live in a different place.

Yeah I should have specified I use Adblocker plus on my chrome.

I could see Epcot having rides/attractions related to futuristic/Scifi/science related IP. Things like GotG, Tron, BH6, Inside out, and other non-US marvel characters, etc

I would be OK with this as long as they kept Spaceship Earth, LWTL, and maybe do a trackless top-of-the-line new Figment attraction. Soarin would obviously stay. Don't care about TT. I think they could add the in the IP stuff, clean up/modernize and still keep the overall feel of the park. The otherworldly feel of the architecture in Epcot sort of works as a place where all these SciFi IPs could coexist together. I was never at Epcot during 'the good old days' so I'm sure this kind of talk is easier for me to swallow than it is to some others.

I noticed after I posted last night that it is an ad that's the issue because you can see the web address trying to load on the bottom of the screen. I only have popups blocked, never worried much about anything else. Can you recommend something to use with chrome? Otherwise I'll just wait it out until the ads change, they aren't normally the same for too long. Or I'll go on a window shopping spree on amazon and macy's to get the ads to change

I'm not comfortable giving that information out because the boards do need the ad revenue to run the servers. There are some popular ones that allow you to turn it off and on at will, so I'd suggest that to make it easier to run a test to see if the boards are still broken after a couple days, and then leave it off so the revenue isn't lost. And then if another rogue ad pops up you can re enable it easily.
