I had high hopes for this but it didn't pan out. It will be interesting to see what happens next with them.
Now you want to tell me VR will replace the cinematic movie experience, then there's an argument to be made.
BUT... digital 4K 3D played through Hololens or VR is something different. If you haven't tried it... stop by and try a Samsung VR ... ask them to play a movie. And then realize that is 1080P, playing through a phone, with non-optimized video. Then you'll see and understand.
It goes with the kids today don't want TV or cable... they watch Youtube on phones and tablets. Its a more personal experience to them. So, for the next generation, watching a movie, with immersive VR while talking to friends is the holy grail.
/completely unrelated geekery off

I've heard that they actually could take the yeti out without shutting down the ride.
Are they having grad nights? That's usually the case. They also get rented out quite often as well.On the "How much lower can we go front"...
Islands of Adventure closed at 6pm tonight
Tomorrow (yes Friday) IoA AND Universal studios close at 6pm.
Fluke? Nope. Next Friday both close at 6pm.
Wow. I'd be one upset puppy.

Only cared about Agent Carter, but now that Castle has been canceled maybe Nathan Fillion can be in an Uncharted adaptation.News
ABC went on a cancelling spree. Muppets, Agent Carter, Galavant, Nashville, and Castle all got the axe.

Soarin fans will be happy. I am hearing Patrick is back in the pre show!
I think Nashville is a surprise too but it's been getting weird and not as good as of late at least in my opinion. I never got into any of those other shows.Nashville surprises me. Didn't see that one coming.

I ink that's safe for now I'm interested to see how this affects or if it affects the rumored muppets restaurants. So sad about the Muppets! Very nervous about how this will affect the Muppet Courtyard at DHS.
