I agree but I guess at least they are keeping roger rabbit I love that character.
They'll think of something to keep that thematically with fantasyland. The frozen addition is supposed to be what Tokyo is/was getting.I love Roger Rabbit but was less impressed with the ride - also seems weird to keep that - which fits with the "toontown" theme, less so to Arandalle

There is always going to be outcry in Disneyland no matter what they do.Guess I will take a wait and see attitude but given the outcry when they replaced Maelstrom for Frozen, can't imagine what will come when they announce Mickey is now homeless thanks to Anna and Elsa
Sometimes I simply question why Disney is still so obsessed with the frozen sisters-Guess I will take a wait and see attitude but given the outcry when they replaced Maelstrom for Frozen, can't imagine what will come when they announce Mickey is now homeless thanks to Anna and Elsa
At the end of the day my question really is: Is the system REALLY worth 3-4 billion dollars? I mean, either some people are exaggerating the numbers or someone at Disney took A LOT of bad decisions.
As far as the Frozen ride goes, yeah, that kind of makes sense. Isn't there an expansion pad right besides Toontown that will be available even after Star Wars goes in there? Though I think it's a big loss as far as losing a big chunk of ToonTown, I have to say that besides the beautiful theming of that area, there isn't quite a lof of stuff to do there for people after certain age.
there were barely any of them and it's been showing that their popularity has gone down majorly.

Yes, it's worth it. They parlayed the data from the magical tracking bands into Early Morning Magic by seeing that most diners immediately left the restaurant and headed to 7 dwarves, Peter Pan and Pooh.
I've always defended MM+ for what it makes for Disney. I'm a Business major, so I actually think implementing an RFID sort of system that tracks your customers' preferences and behaviors is a genius idea from a business perspective. It's the price they paid for it that sounds outrageous to me.
ToonTown (Roger Rabbit stays everything else goes) at Disneyland is going to get Frozen...
Well if you think about it, they had to upgrade a good chunk, if not all of property, to work with the RFID readers and MM+. From resort doorways to attraction entrances to just improving the WiFi, I can easily see where the money started taking a bite.
Yes it's a fantasyland expansion however the frozen attraction won't be frozen ever after.I'm assuming this is not a Frozen Themed Land but rather a Fantayland Expansion which will have Frozer Ever After as one of the attractions (along with Roger Rabbit)..... Right?
Not sure I believe this one....ok, most shocking and most upsetting is the changing Toontown to Frozen ... that will be such a loss as Toontown is really neat and my kids loved it! I like Frozen and all but getting rid of Mickey's dang home!
Not sure I believe this one....
And how would they ever incorporate RR into Frozen?
They wouldn't be incorporating it into frozen. Frozen is just a fantasyland expansion where everything else in too town goes except for roger rabbit. Not sure I believe this one....

No the frozen attraction in Tokyo was not replaced with beauty and the beast. The beauty and the beast ride was always planned for Tokyo in fantasyland. Frozen was planned for Tokyo DisneySea but has been put on hold.According to the rumors, this is supposed to be the Frozen addition that was planned for Tokyo but that was later replaced for a Beauty and the Beast ride/Fantasyland expansion. In reality, if this ever happens, it will probably be marketed as a Fantasyland expansion rather than a Frozen miniland (hence Roger Rabbit surviving). Since they probably developed a full ride for Tokyo but they changed their minds, it kind of makes sense to use it somewhere else.
