News Round Up 2016

Those pictures from Pandora look pretty cool. Can't wait to see the whole thing without the scaffoldings and such. And it's cool to see Judy and Nick being added. I'm really not a big fan of Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! but hey, still nice to see.

Hopefully they get a meet and greet instead.

I think the PBS documentary combined with this one provides a balanced take on Disney the man, boss, and creative.

Thanks for sharing. I have only read one biography and just finished the PBS documentary tonight. I'll have to check out the video you shared next.

I've read Michael Barrier's "Animated Man" and "Project Future" by Chad Enerson. Anyone have suggestions on the next bio/memoir/book on Disney and/or Imagineering I should check out next?

"Walt Disney: triumph of the American imagination" is probably the most complete bio of Walt I have read

"Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow: Walt Disney and technology". Has tons of quotes from imagineers and others and has counter-points to items raised in PBS documentary (so where that was a bit of negative spin, this one is on the positive side)

Rolls Krump's book "It's Kind of a Cute Story" is really good too

Tickets are now on sale for Disneyland Shanghai!
