News Round Up 2016

One thing that is interesting about the boathouse is they wanted to have all of those boats they bought out on the water and being rented all of the time. Not once have I seen any other boat out on the water other than the amphicars. There was even a plan to have yeehaw Bob preform on one of the boats during select days.
Those boats are all so gorgeous, but it's pretty pricey to rent them for a short amount of time. I'm wondering if any changes are going to be made to that pricing structure?

That is true. A lot of the boats are one of a kind or rare. I don't know if they will change pricing but I am surprised they don't push the boat rentals more.

That's because they had to get some boat scenes in there since they are already building the ride for Star Wars land. ;)

I can see it now - Episode XIII: The Heart of Darkness....Luke, Rey and Finn travel up the Kordhaat'k river to confront Colonel Snoke and his first order army...."The horror, the horror" (You young kids might not get that one.)

Hats, gloves and scarves have been stocked heavily this week. Got down to about 40 a few nights ago and people were still using resort pools. Heated or not, that's crazy.

All depends where you are from. We're going on an overnight skiing this weekend, and the resort has an outdoor heated pool. We'll likely be in the pool and it will be about 30 degrees out.

I would love 40! It's currently 26...

When I was in Disney last January it was 40s and 50s for most of the week. I was in shorts and a sweatshirt the entire week.

We had one of those at the resort I use to work at. You'd have people in the pool with below zero temps, wind howling, snow falling. Heated walk ways, and a short walk inside.
Not a lot of fun to pay the propane bill during that time of year. No different than a hot tub really.

I've only been living here a few months and I'm already one of those Florida people I used to make fun of. If I told them I was cold, they'd disown me back home in the Midwest.

It's all relative. Today where I am the high is 24 degrees. 40 sounds pretty nice, it's almost t-shirt weather!
