Be a gift-giver!

Do you have a friend in VMK who deserves a special gift? Maybe you are worried you won't be able to find them in the game to give it to them, or maybe you want to give it secretly. We have a special item set aside just for this occasion. Let us know who they are and we can deliver it for you.

Here's how it works:

Tell us the name of the friend you want to give a gift to. Be sure you are giving us the name of their VMK Character and that you spell it correctly. Gifts can't be delivered to invalid names.
You may give a gift to as many friends as you like, but a separate entry must be sent for each friend.
The cost of 500 credits will be deducted from your credit total for each gift you give. If you don't have enough credits, your gift will not be given.
Gifts will be delivered anonymously; your friend won't know you gave it to them unless you tell them.
The final date to give a gift is Sunday, December 18.
All gifts will be delivered Saturday, December 24.

It sounds to me that it is going to cost 500 credits to give a guft. I don't know about you but I would wait until I see the person or PM them to give the gift rather then paying the credits/

I'm guessing the gift will be something that won't be for sale. The only way you'll be able to get it is if someone else thinks you're worthy of receiving. (or trading for it after )

I like this idea. I'm already working on my naughty and nice list.

Well i think the point is that they said they have a "Special item set aside". So i would think that means that this item will not be buyable just in the stores. If you want to send/give one, you'll have to use the link to send the present to someone. You wont be able to just buy it, and give it when you see the person. At least thats the way i read it. Also, if they truly keep to their word and not sell whatever it is, it will be a hot item for those who join vmk after december 24. and for those freindless souls who didnt get a gift from anybody lol.

Oh and canadian, there are other ways to make sure you get one if you have been naughty *cough - mules- cough*

it would be both funny and cool if it was flying carpet, just whammo out of the blue.

I highly doubt that.

Knowing vmk, it will prob. be something lame like "you spend 500 credits, and the person you gifted recieves 1000 credits!". hmmm, great lol.

Actually i dont think it works that way. You just choose who to give the gift to, not what the gift is. You just pay the credits, and they will send the "secret gift" to the other person, and much like the presents from my Grandma Doris on Christmas morning, you get what you get.

Well, I'm hoping one of my mules will find me worthy! I'm the nicest master in vmk - I don't send them nedding, I let them visit all the NPC's every day, and let them play "their song" at the music mix. Every now and then I'll even let one of them come to a Mule Ball.
