news from DD!!!

DD just called from college. She's a musical theater major at Rhode Island College. Reported that she and 2 other friends are going to NYC the end of May to audition for Finding Nemo - the Musical!! Now I know the chances for her actually being chosen are small but, how exciting would that be?? Not to mention a great excuse to visit the World several more times!!!

but how can you burst their bubble? Unfortunately my DD comes by it genetically. I was doing a show when I got pregnant w/her, another during the pregnancy and her earliest memories are of sitting in "Jesus' lap" during Superstar rehearsals!! I worry about her career choice but it's her life!!
BTW, I see you're from central Ma., DD just performed for Worcester County Light Opera Company - Sally in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

I wanted to attend the audtions down here in florida being a Disney puppeteer. But frankly my singing voice isn't what it use to be. The only characters that i would fit though would be Crush and Mr. Ray.

You're daughter is probably the perfect age and range they are looking for for Nemo.
