newport bay club hotel pool/sauna/gym open late november?

Here are two articles I thought I would share - they have photographs and some info on the renovation work schedule for DLP and in particular for the NPBC and as it was something I've been hunting for I though others might be interested in. We are booked for the end of November and are hoping to get a brand new room. The pictures in particular were something I had struggled to find. Here are the articles:

We are going there the last week of November as well.
I have found conflicting information as to whether the pool/sauna/gym will be open around 26 November? I thought it would be open when I booked (per translated web site).
Any info is appreciated

Your best bet is to email guest communications I'd say. We upgraded to the DLH a little while after I posted those links! Hope you have a lovely stay

For any DISers willing to give input:

I have an phone number to call guest services tomorrow, any advice on speaking with them? I found out tonight that the pool will open the day after we leave, which is a delay announced only today (per the "chat" on the website). Even my reservation confirmation states the following:
"The swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, steam room and massage will not be accessible from November 2013 to October 2014. chambrLa pool is closed from 5 to 16 January 2015 inclusive."
This is why I thought it would be a safe bet to book for the end of November.
Any suggestions? Is it worth staying there without the facilities? We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge 2013 at the same time of year, and the indoor pool was quite brisk.
I am used to WDW guest services--any advice on dealing with DLP guest services as a newbie? Thanks!!
