I got a maternity massage this morning--present from DH. Very relaxing. I didn't want it to end.

What a wonderful present!!! A prenatal massage sounds heavenly.

I got one for xmas from DH too- just haven't gone yet. I was going to try to hold off another few weeks. I am excited for this though!

You are making me jealous. I've always wanted to get a massage, but I felt I was too fluffy and would be uncomfortable. But a pregnancy massage?! Who cares where you're bumpy? Plus I've lost 15 pounds since getting preggers, so I'm not as fluffy either.

You are making me jealous. I've always wanted to get a massage, but I felt I was too fluffy and would be uncomfortable. But a pregnancy massage?! Who cares where you're bumpy? Plus I've lost 15 pounds since getting preggers, so I'm not as fluffy either.

I'm sure the massage therapists have seen people of all sizes and shapes, they don't care what their clients look like. And you don't have to show them your front torso or your butt, those are always covered and you can wear your underpants. Your neck, shoulders, arms, legs, and back are what get done.

I've only had one other massage before, and no, I wasn't svelte then either.

I love feeling the baby move...today I am getting a sharp ting in my lower left back that comes and goes. Our little one was moving like crazy in the first ultrasound, feels like today he/she is dancing in the New Year!!! (just like the big brother )

I know! My little one is doing more wiggling than kicking right now. I love to feel her-and dh is upset that he can't feel her yet. I know it won't be long now, though. And my stomach has popped-I love looking more pregnant than fat!

And I didn't vomit again yesterday I couldn't hold down dressing at Thanksgiving or at Christmas, but my mother is making some today for New Years. I'm hoping for a great meal with my family!

I haven't thrown up yet. I have the queasies a lot, and a gaggy feeling in the back of my throat, but no vomiting yet. I was a lot sicker with DD so this is a nice "break" but it's still no fun.

Is it wrong that my DH was feeling pukey after all the drinking he did at our NYE party last night I thought it was funny?

I didn't get a lot of sympathy the first trimester when I was nauseous. One time he even said, sometimes I just think in my head I wish she could just man up. So last night as he nibbled saltines and laid next to a trash can, I said, "Man up." Too bad his won't last 6 weeks.

Eeeek! Thats horrible, what he said to you!!
DH so would've been on the couch with that attitude-- I've only gotten sick twice this entire pregnancy (both after eating Burger King.. I'm staying away from now on!) and he was right there holding my hair, with a wet cloth and a glass of ice water. The first time I was in bed and he cleaned it all up while I sat in the living room.
He's only had to deal with it the two times though...

I can feel movement pretty regularly now. It's so cool! My belly has popped too...
My grandmother's funeral was yesterday and people kept hugging me and telling me I had the 'glow' and looked beautiful.

It's so cool for people to know I'm pregnant by looking at me vs. me having to tell them!!

My DH has sympathy for my aches and pains, and had sympathy for my occasional queasiness (I didn't have much morning sickness). But for the fatigue in the first trimester and my mental wackiness--not so much.

We are expecting our first baby, she is due Feb 1st.

We just booked our next cruise, which will be her first vacation and cruise on Disney!

So tonite we made a trip out and bought new bottles, diapers, wipes, cream, breast pads, binkies, changing pads...yikes. I need to get my changing table from my girlfriend!!!!
I need to find my breastpump in the basement and make sure it still works...find the pack-n-play ... wash baby clothes...set up the crib...omigosh....

It's like suddenly, nothing is done! I went to Walmart yesterday and got my husband's "labor snacks" and some new slipper socks (favorite of mine for walking the halls). Today I will be going out to buy everything else needed for baby. So much to do, so little time!!! But then he'll probably come late.

The worst for me is the baby blanket. I crocheted each baby their own blanket (all matching, just different colors) and had them done before they came. This one is not even close!!!

I am finally "allowed" to take down the Christmas tree today, thank goodness! If I can't get this house cleaned, I am going to go out of my mind!!!!

Think we're nesting a little, Kellie?! When is your next doctor's appt?

Me either! I'm a project kind -of girl. If I clean it, it is from top to bottom. I don't care much for daily cleaning.

I'm curious to see what order we all go in!

nesting is WAY too mild of a word for what is happening at my house!!!
yesterday I started hauling stuff back into my closet ... we are in the middle of a remodel and I just snapped. all this JUNK is in my room and the babys room b/c there is nowhere else for it to go...as they are in the middle of doing the BASEMENT too.. needless to say, I have been spending a lot of time in my 6 year olds room
so I told my husband ENOUGH and that I couldnt give a #% that he had not taped and mudded the sheetrock in the closet. he could take everything back out when he gets around to that...which he isnt planning on doing til the basement is ready to be taped and mudded.
our tile on the new bath was done a week ago and he STILL hasnt sealed it...c'mon .....
he is 80% finished painting the babys room ...so cute w/ tone on tone stripes on a light lavender ... did alternating matte then high gloss so its all the same color but looks so cool b/c of the contrasting finish. Now he is pouting b/c I hate the rug I had to have for her 4 months ago...mmmmm, just take it back for me, please????
i have a trundle bed in there right now b/c it was the guest room...we gave DD the double bed from in there and swapped. Now w/out the basement done we dont have a guest room and we are constantly revolving company so I want to keep a bed in there as long as possible. This is making him nuts. I figure the baby will be in our room for 4 months so who cares, right?
Does anyone else keep the baby w/ them?
We use the pack and play bassinet next to our bed, or did, seemed to make life easier and I felt like i could check them whenever i wanted to...
LABOR SNACKS? holy guacamole, I better start thinking about LABOR?

I am so in denial....and for some reason this feels like I have never done this before...(hmmm, could it be that my youngest is about the turn FOUR!)
