13 weeks and still sick as a dog...you?

Ann

Yes. Everyday I get sick. I can keep down some stuff but mostly just bland food. Anything with the slightest hint of flavor or spice has me running for the bathroom. Yuck. It's awful. I feel your pain!

I think my morning sickness passed around 16 weeks. So, I'm a month free. I still get nauseous occassionally. My biggest concern is these darn headaches. I'm being careful about it but I haven't taken this much Tylenol in years.

Hey everyone! I just had my FINAL visit to the high-risk doctor! I am so excited!

My cervix is good and I am not dialated at all. I am almost a normal pregnant woman for once! Baby is measuring at 6lbs 3oz with 6 weeks to go. Doc says his hands are so big, he looks like a full-term baby already:lmao: and that I will probably need to be induced at 39 weeks because of his size.

Well, they said that with DS#2 and he weighed 4 oz less than DS#1. So no induction unless medically necessary for me.

You know, it seems like they don't have a clue how to measure the little rascals when they're closer to the due date, it's the early ultrasounds that are more accurate. Probably because the difference in size and development between 8 and 11 weeks is more obvious than the difference between 33 weeks and 36 weeks. My ultrasound on Monday is for "measuring", and I'm not sure how much to trust it. :confused3 But naturally, I have no problem with taking another peek in there. :)

They had me terrified last time with the "ten pounder" I was supposed to have. He was 8lb 2oz. Not even close. Plus, he came out with his hand next to his very large head...ouch! They aren't going to scare me this time!:thumbsup2

With my DD, I got an ultrasound at 34 weeks that told me she was already over seven pounds at that point. So of course I was freaked out thinking I had a Sumo wrestler in there - but when she was born four weeks later, she was only 7 lbs. 6 oz. WAY off. :rotfl:

I'm 18 weeks, and still sick as a dog. dd9 has decided that she never wants babies. I keep telling her not everyone is like me. I was late for work this morning because I couldn't stop vomiting-I knew we had missed the bus from my school to ds11's school, so I had to take him myself. No big deal-I wasn't bad late. And I just threw up lunch-which was soup! Luckily, this is an exam day, and we took 2 exams this morning-the afternoon is pretty much dead time. All my kids in this class went home except 3 really good kids.

I have 7th pd coming up, and I'm just praying they went home, too. They are the class from hell!!!!!! This is the class that asked me wasn't I embarrassed to be pregnant at my age (when half of them have kids), and I "shouldn't be advertising what I been doin'" by being pregnant. And one 17 yr old girl on Fri tried to convince my dd9 that there is no Santa. The elementary sent her over 10 min early, so she had to sit in my class. From now on, I'll send her to the office to wait. I caught 3 skipping class yesterday (they had permission to be in the library, but were at the other end of the building instead) and when I hauled them back to my room they informed me they were grown! I'm sorry, but being 18 and in the 9th grade isn't something to brag about!

OK, maybe I'm through venting now:goodvibes

Oh, December, if I were you I'd stay away from the soup. I found that to be one of the worst things because it just came right straight up again being pretty much pure liquid.

well things are going downhill quickly for me!!

I went and was sworn in as a notary today, well as I was leaving city hall, there is a 1/2 step that I almost missed and it's slippery out..you guessed it, I wiped out!!

All seems to be fine w/the baby. I'm feeling normal in that area. but they are treating me as a fracture because they didn't want to take xrays. we tried getting me to at least put some weight on it, nope no luck!! so for the moment i'm in a post op boot, could but upgraded to a walking boot or worse if it's still as bad tomorrow and I have to go back for xrays. so picture this..20 weeks prego on crutches, and yes I'm already showing as this is my 3rd kid! I got the ok from my ob to take the vicodin they gave me if I need it. I hate take meds when I'm pregnant, but think I'll need it to sleep.

Did I mention hubby is out of town, he's now coming home tomorrow instead of friday pm. my mom is on her ways to pick up my boys. thank goodness for my mom. I can't walk or do anything. I had a bag downstairs and i put some shortbread cookies and juice into it, as I haven't eaten since a bagel at 7:30 am.

I was on the clock when this happened, so if I"m out for an extended period (over 5 days) I'll get some $$ that way. But I have no vacation time, as it doesn't kick in until 6 months at the job. I have probably 1.5 sick days that I'll use. UGH!!!

I finally found someone to tow my car to my house for me, as I was taken via ambulance to hospital (don't forget I was on town property when this happened). at least I can get reimbursed from AAA for the tow. It's going to take a while as we have bad weather here now.

OK...rant over. back to my ice pack :)

Yikes! What a day, TiggerStac! I sure do hope tomorrow is better. Hope you are able to stay off your ankle and feel better soon.

I had a growth scan today. Luckily, it is still a girl in there! I have been hearing TOO many stories about people being told the wrong sex!

She is measuring 2lbs 7ozs (which is the 49 percentile)... Everything looks great!

DH is due to paint the nursery tomorrow. We are getting very excited.

thanks for the well wishes everyone. I did give in and took a vicodin last night. the plus side, it knocked me out and I was able to sleep. I didn't even get up to go potty all night. My brother decided to call me at about 10pm to check on me (way too late for me, but at least he was checking) and I got up then and went potty....slept thru the night, got up at about 7-730ish. I joked w/my moms that I should have gone and got some depends from work so I didn't have to get up all night. Now watch, tonight is goin to be horrible. Luckily the bathroom is right by my bedroom, so it's not a far hobble. But even taking my foot down from being elevated kills!!!

Still feeling baby move around in there, so it's such a relief. My mom is staying w/me til hubby comes home. Thank goodness, i couldn't take care of my almost 2 year old!! I do have an appt tomorrow am at 9. I have a feeling they are going to do xrays at that point. they said that they really can shield you up, but it's still just as bad, if not worse then it was.

At her appointment a few weeks ago, my wife was thrilled when the doctor said the baby is measuring average sized, right on pace at her point in the pregnancy. She was (and still is) fearing a larger baby since I was 10.5 at birth. Just a couple of days over 6 weeks to go.

Five weeks today and so far no nausea. Keeping everything crossed. I was 5½ weeks when I got sick with my daughter and I didn't stop until after week 20.

Hey girls ~ Just popping in for a check up! I have an OB appointment today. My last appointment I was 2cm and 80% effaced, so I'm anxious to see if there's been any more change!

I'm still all set for my induction on December 30th - hard to believe I'll be meeting my little girl in just 11 days!

Oh, and could I get my due date moved from January 2 to December 30 please?? I know it's only a few days, but I love seeing "December" instead of "January" :thumbsup2

Can I just tell you how much I am enjoying this thread? This pregnancy has been amazing! I didn't realize I would like it quite so much. But it's been especially great to journey together with all of you. I love hearing your stories and progress.
