I just went to the doc today; I'm doing well and so's the baby. My BP went down from previous vists, funnily enough: it's now 100/60. It must have been all the early exams and big ultrasounds making me stressed!

Good Morning Moms and moms to be...

Here is a question for all...

When will you take your baby's first trip to WDW/ DL???

I took my first DS in May and he was 15mo. I think I am going to wait until #2 is a little bit older then that...

What about everyone else?!?!?

My oldest was about 5 months when we first went. My youngest was 8 weeks. My grandparents winter in florida and weren't home for his birth, so technically we went to introduce him to my grandparents...but they came to orlando to stay w/us at my parents townhouse.

This one, I'm not too sure, we don't have anything planned right now. We're lookingat 12/09...so the baby will be 7-8 months.

I'm bursting at the seems here and have to share because the offer DH and I made on our first home was ACCEPTED!

Trying not to get too excited because the last one fell through after the inspection but we really think this is it. Realtor said "Third time is always the charm" and it's Veteran's day and DH is a Vet!

I certainly hope so!! We're so excited and now I have a place to set the nursery up finally!!

He was fine. We stayed at CSR on that trip. I would put him in the baby bjorn on the rides he could go on. We had both sets of grandparents visiting us from Tampa area during that trip, so on big rides, hubby and I would go on and Ty could stay w/my grandparents.

We had a rental car, so we only brought what we needed. We went shopping for diapers, baby food, etc. I brought formula w/us as I get it at at bj's a lot cheaper than in grocery stores.

I have the best picture of him w/cinderella holding him. He had falling asleep in hubby's arms while we were waiting. She sat on the floor and asked if she could hold him. It's one of my favorite pictures!!!

I don't know about what not to ride. Probably just pay attention to the signs? Who knows. Hopefully someone can come along with better advice!

I'm going on a cruise in 29 days! I'm a little bummed I can't take advantage of the "Drinks of the Day"

I went when I was a little over 3 months pregnant last yr... I really just stuck to the kiddy rides... anything that mentioned no pregnant women, I steered clear of.. it was hard to do.... but safe

You think that's hard? I had to take down my DCL ticker. We had a week at the Beach Club followed by a week on the Disney Magic planned for July. It was going to be our first cruise ever.

My office was repainted on Tuesday. Wednesday, I came home because it REEKED. Today, I came home because it still reeked.. I'm supposed to work tomorrow and Saturday, too. My Dr. said "If you can smell it, you shouldn't be in it."
I'm waiting on my manager to call me to tell me what HR says about compensation. I'm a little concerned (especially since I work a half hour away so I've wasted how much gas and time driving there just to come home??) about not getting paid.

My manager was a PITA yesterday about me leaving. She was a lot nicer today and came over to me and said "I don't think you can work today either" but it makes me feel bad. There are only four of us, and another girl is on vacation this week. Talk about a tough situation.

Just venting a little.

Hi All!

Welcome to the new posters!

I went for a dr visit yesterday and all is well. I go for another ultrasound in 2 weeks (they want me to go every four now to chart the baby's growth. I guess my thyroid problem can cause some issues with that).

Our trip to Disney was great. I stuck to the east rides: Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Soarin, Maelstrom, etc.

As far as morning sickness, my doc had me take some extra vitamin B and a low dose of aspirin/Ecotrin (that was to help since I suffered 2 misses) and they both seemed to help. Ask the doc if there is anything that they recommend to take. I was kind of happy to have the MS...since that is a good sign of a strong pregnancy...Hang in there ladies and hopefully it will pass soon!
