We are trying something new. DD7 (48.5") and DD5 (almost 48") along with DH and I are heading to see the "other place."

I have been to WDW at least 50 different vacations... We are DVC members, AP holders, etc... But we are visiting Universal for the first time in less than a week and I am feeling nervous, overwhelmed, anxious - you get it.
We are staying on site and have access to the extra hour entry, have park-hoppers and unlimited fast pass (I know, it's called something else at US, but I'm stuck on Disney lingo.)

We always do rope drop and usually see everything at the park before 1-2 o'clock.

How do you do US? What are your tricks to getting the most out of your trip? We are there for 3 days before heading over to WDW.

:confused3:crazy2::worried:pixiedust:

I would do exactly the same thing at Universal. Get there as early as possible and do the parks until lunch. Eat lunch, take a break and then head back to the park. It is so simple when you stay onsite. No need to be nervous at all!!!!

One difference between WDW and Universal is that you can relax and take more time at USO/IoA. We don't feel like we have to rush from place to place, especially when we do Early Entry. We also love the theming of the hotels, so we spend more time back at the resort than we do when we are at Disney. Definitely get there early, spend afternoons back at your resort and then close the parks down at night. It's a different experience between morning and night time.
