I'm new to the photography board. Can someone tell me how to post a picture?

Hi there!

to post a photo - first it must be hosted online somewhere - photobucket, inkfrog, a site that will assign a URL to your photo -

then when you go to start a post - click on the little picture above the message box that is yellow with a mountain - click on that and then cut/paste the URL from your photo - the url is something like

www.photobucket.com/spazphoto/prettyshot.jpg

then click OKAY.

If you did it right - your photo will appear right in your post - before you even finish posting it. (so that's a clue as to whether you did right or not)

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. From photobucket, I copy/paste the share URL (and I've tried the URL link) My picture never shows up.

Don't use the share url copy the image code (the last option on photobucket).
