Newbie xmas gift package

As you all know we have been to WDW many, many times but finally I have persuaded my sister to join us, together with per partner and 18 year old son.

I'd like to put together a little parcel for them for a Xmas prezzie but I have no idea what to put in it. My sister and her son have been to Disneyland many times but her partner hasn't. I don't want to go overboard and I'm the only die hard Disney fanatic but I still want to start to build the excitement. I already have Disney gift cards for each of them and I thought I'd make them a countdown chain but I'm stuck for other ideas ..................... Please can anyone help

What about a book?

Either the Brits guide or Birnbarm are nice reads for first timers.

The Unofficial guide is good but a "heavy read"

Not sure of the age of her son but the Birnbarm guide for kids is nice - I would say for ages 7-12 roughly (not sure on the upper age but they need to be able to read/write to get the most out of it)

It's just like an old fashioned paper chain and each link represents 1 day. I used to make them when the kids were younger and they'd take turns removing 1 each day. I have a word document which has a template for each link with Disney characters on it and for every 10th one I put a numbered link so I can keep track of where we are as some of those chains have been very long. I'd be happy to mail the document if anyone wants it just PM me with your email address.

This won't do for the 18 year old in the US but if you're sister and her partner like the odd drink or three, you could make them a Drinking Around the World passport for Epcot

For my first visit my DSis gave me a Passporter guide for Christmas. I loved it for planning; all in colour with maps included and we filled in the itinery cards while we were there so it makes a great keepsake. Now I have one for each of our visits.

That's actually a great book for a first timer as it's very visual; much less 'text' but just enough to be informative. I may order one for DD for xmas. Thanks for the idea.
