1. no
2. only works if a restaurant is in the system for it.
3. not sure what you mean. you say disney has extended hours then you
say they close at 7.

do you mean universal?

UO closing hours are depended on the date.
when are you going?

btw, i will be at disney end of sept/early oct and the mk closes at 7 for 3 of my nights there. dhs also closes early, even at 6pm on a saturday night.

I have some credits at Restaurant.com which need to be used, so I scoured the site looking for convenient options in the Orlando area, not too far from our hotels. I only found one that looks like it will work for us - Elements Bar and Grille which is in the Crowne Plaza hotel. It's just me and my daughter going, and this one only has a $35 minimum purchase. There were a few others which required a $50 purchase, which I don't think we'd be able to manage (not to mention, it would be cheaper to just eat elsewhere without a coupon).

Some other things that can save money on dining are to sign up at local restaurants' websites. I signed up at Sweet Tomatoes and Tilted Kilt, and both send coupons via email. I've read that Tony Roma's does as well.

Universal closes around that time because the crowds aren't large enough to warrant staying open. When the crowds are large, the parks are open.

Also, sometimes there are special events (such as Hallowe'en Horror NIghts) that make the parks close early.

One more thing is that Universal is in the middle of the city and has to abide by the noise ordinances.
