Newbie With Questions & Pics

Hi there! I am new to the DISign board. For the 4th of July, I did matching family t-shirts. So many people gave us compliments on them. I will put photos below - anyone know who designed these? I wanted to give proper credit, but at the time just clicked & saved without thinking about it (sorry, new to this).

Second question, the shirts turned out great (didn't wash before wearing them) - used Avery dark transfers with Fruit Of The Loom & Hanes shirts. When I washed them, the designs definitely had alot of "wrinkle" in them (every shirt the same). No, they are not cracking or peeling - the shirt looks fine - just "wrinkles" in the design. These are the first shirts that I have ever made. Any clue what I did wrong? Iron too much? Not enough? Any tips would be appreciated .... about to try making more. I went though and read all the threads on t-shirts, but didn't see any questions like this.

We are going to Disney as a Grand Gathering with extended family in May, so I want to master this before I start making shirts for the entire group.

Your shirts look really great. I'm not sure who designed them but you did a great job. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Wrinkles may be just part of what an iron on does. I'm glad they didn't peel, crack or run for you. The transfers will never be like a regular t-shirt you get at the store. You could probably iron them to get the wrinkles out.

I will try turning the shirt inside out & ironing it - I doubt that will help though. I may just experiment with a few more designs & use different kinds of transfer paper until I get the hang of it. Maybe the stretchable kind?

can you post a pix of the wrinkled tee? would love to see how much it wrinkled.

BTW, did you put it in the dryer?

I have "reironed" my tees after washing - some by turning inside out; others by putting that parchment paper back on top of the design and redoing. Not sure it it's possible to iron too much w/the parchment paper though so I'd try the inside out solution first to see if that resolve the wrinkling problem.
