Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but I am new to these boards. My family will be going to WDW and doing the DDP for the first time this October. I was wondering, what types of foods are on the QS menu??

Since there is 1 QS, 1 TS and 1Snack per day, I was thinking we'd do QS for breakfast and then a late lunch/early dinner TS each day. But, I was wondering what types of foods are available for QS breakfast.

Ooops, I should add that we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas and we will be doing the basic dining plan.

Thank you

Mickey waffles, pancakes, eggs, etc. Some places may have a few other offerings depending on where you are, but these are pretty standard at the hotels.

Im guessing you are staying at a value since you have the QS plan? The values all have good food courts. Menus can be found here:

Scroll to the resort you are staying at and it has a menu for the food courts.
You can get any one entree and for the remainder of this year, you get 2 drinks with breakfast (a juice and another beverage).
Tip: if you have the resort mugs (and you should with the QS plan), get bottled drinks with breakfast that you can take with you to the parks later so you dont have to waste credits and money on drinks at the parks. Then you just fill up your mug to drink with your breakfast and save the bottled drinks for later.

Since you will be in a villa you'll have a small kitchen, I believe. Even the regular rooms at the Deluxe Resorts have a mini refrigerator. For our trip with just the regular dining plan (the one you'll have) plus our trip when we ate paying out of pocket I placed an order with Garden Grocer for yogurt, juice, milk, breakfast bars, bottled water etc. and had all but one breakfast each trip in our room. Then we usually ate a CS lunch and TS dinner. It's an idea you might want to consider unless you are very light eaters. We didn't eat all of what we were served but did quite well.
