Newbie with promo code questions

Hello!
We are going for our first trip to Disney next month!!

I secured a reservation for a rental car with National using an ID code If found on mousesavers. It's a car and driver code. It gave me a fantastic savings, and I almost think it's too good to be true! Do they request any kind of hard copy coupon or proof when using these codes?

Depends on the code: some do, some don't. Do you know what code it was?

Also be aware that with car rental rates as inflated as they are these days, what appears to be a big discount may still leave you with a high price. It really pays to try every option.

It was code 3715444 for readers of Car and Driver Magazine.

It took it down significantly from nearly $800 to $300 for a midsize. I know the rates seem cheaper in January, I just figured it was inflated for the holiday.. I was happy with the $300...

If anyone has any other ideas I'd appreciate them!
