This is my second trip to WDW, but the last time, we went, I honestly don't remember how we booked our dining. So, it's my understanding I can start booking at 6am online on my 180th day out. BUT, if I didn't do my reservation with Disney, can I still do it?
I booked my trip through AAA and was wondering if I need my agent to book my dining or if I can do it online or over the phone. Does anyone know?

If you are able to get the Disney confirmation number from your TA, you should be able to book 180+10 on your own (phone or online). I think I've heard that commonly AAA TAs are able to give you this number.

Booking dining online at 180 days or less from date of dining can be done regardless of having a Disney confirmation number at all.

You can book your own dining. If you want to book 180 + 10 (up to 10 days of reservations on day 180) you will require your resort reservation # from AAA. Your TA at AAA should be able to provide that easily enough. Have a great trip.

PP is absolutely right.:thumbsup2 I have done this before after using AAA. Or, they (AAA) will make your ressies for you. I sat in their office while they did it, but you may not have the time to do it. I do mine online now and can do it anytime after 6am whether I'm dressed or not! Gotta love it! (I guess the CMs on the phone don't care if I'm dressed either:lmao:)

Keep in mind too - even if you don't get in to what you want right away - just keep trying. We have been successful getting hard to get reservations even at the last minute by checking back frequently. Having said that - be sure too that if you aren't going to use a reservation to cancel it, so others can get it!

definatly dont wait.... certain restaurants become very hard to get.... I called on 180 days out and got LeCellier....have been shut out in the past and didnt want to miss it this trip... you can always cancel if you change your plans...
