Newbie with a Pin needs advice PLEASE

I am new here so I hope I posted this correctly. My family me DH,DS10,DD8 have been looking into our 1st Disney World trip. I got pin for use in Dec. looking at going 8th-14th it is for $598 per adult $265 jr and $240 child stay in value resort and tickets ( no Hopper). Does this sound like good deal to you veterans? Any suggestions on which value & is it possible to pay diff. & stay at a Mod?

PS have been looking at other boards & this seems to be by far the friendliest and most knowledgable

It appears to be an ok rate... I'm not able to get the site to work right to check availability for those dates. It's saying it's all booked.... at all resorts.... I don't think that is right

Anyway park tickets alone will cost your family about $1086. So that means you are paying about $100 a night for the room. That isn't bad. (I'm just not sure how good that is because it won't let me see the base cost for the room since it says it's not available.) If you are planning on going anyway though I'd use the pin and if a better general public code comes out later you can always change it.
