Hi everyone. I have been a lurker on this site for a while now and loved reading the trip reports and learning new things from all of you and decided to join as I have just booked our holiday to Orlando for a year today We haven't visited since 2010 but have been many times previously. There is me and my boyfriend staying 21 nights at Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando and my sister in law and family staying 14 nights. We have stayed at the Swan and Dolphin in the past and loved being on site but have loved the Rosen in the past as well, we are just so excited to be going back. I will have a few questions as we plan our trip and look forward to chatting with you all along the way. Thanks for now.

Thanks everyone. We decided to book a package with Cosmos this time so we can pay a bit off as we go, I usually do book everything DIY, but with a low deposit and my SIL wanting to get something locked in for definite, this was a good option for us. Also, my partner was made redundant 18 months ago and is now self-employed so if we had to cancel we would only lose our deposit, which is what we did when it happened, but I'm staying positive this time and determined to go. We missed the opening of Harry Potter World by a week in 2010 so this is what I'm looking forward to most.

Hi again. What an eventful week, booked our holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday night I had a car crash when someone turned right in front of me, fortunately everyone was ok but my car is a write off and my neck and back very sore and some bruising to my nose and arms when the airbag went off. I was feeling a bit down about it yesterday, worrying about sorting it all out, so went to my SIL and we sat in the back garden talking about all the rides and restaurants we can't wait to do. Felt much better when I got home.

Oh you poor thing. Glad that everyone is ok and hope the soreness goes soon.

Disney planning is great medicine though. I planned alot of or Sept trip when i was in hospital. Pretty sure the nurses got fed up of my constant chat about flight prices

Thank you for your kind words, I've always loved how friendly and thoughtful everyone is on this site I have a brand new notebook for all our plans, ticket prices, things to pay for, etc. We got back from a RCI med cruise 2 weeks ago so it is the perfect holiday blues remedy.
