DH and I have been talking a disney cruise for at least a year. Next year we want to make it happen! We are thinking April 2017. Is it best to use an agent or costco for our first trip? 3 or 4 day (I would LOVE to do the Alaska or one of the Europe tours next summer but think that might be better suited for a second trip after we make sure we have sea legs!). I'm fairly well versed in planning WDW vacations but never cruised. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 DS age 7 and 10 at time of cruise.
TIA!

I just booked a DCL cruise thru costco and the agent I got was wonderful...I've booked several cruises thru them...plus you get the "cash card" after your trip. Have fun!

If you are used to researching and finding answers to your questions on your own you should be able to book through Costco. I booked through Costco for the first time after using a TA for all my other cruises. One difference I've experienced myself is that for making requests or changes to the cruise that don't impact the price I have to call Disney. If the change impacts the price of the cruise (adding ground transportation) I have to call Costco. I've grown accustomed to just shooting my TA an email but it hasn't been too big a deal so far.
