How do you go about renting points? How many pts and how much $ for a week? Can you get pts for any week that you want? Help! Am I on the right board? Thanks for any and all Help!

If you want to rent points, you need to go to the Rent/Trade board. Figure out how many points you need for your time frame and what size room you will need. Cost is based on the number of points needed and they are priced at $XX.XX per point...varies on the owner. Check there first, read the stickys at the top and come back here if you have any questions, although the sticky posts should answer most if not all of your questions! Good luck!

here is the link to the point charts for the different DVC resorts. use the point charts to figure how many "points" your reservation will cost.

then you can go to the rent/trade board and start looking for someone with points to rent. (be aware that DVC rentals can be difficult to book on short notice - which generally means within 3-4 months.)
