newbie to ebay ?

I have never sold items on ebay before but am thinking about it as I clean out closets, etc. this summer. What items have you had the most success with and which items would you not bother with? TIA!

I've found that nicer name brands sell well (if you're referring to clothing). I try to think of things I sell in terms of what I would buy because I shop on ebay, too. I wouldn't buy anything stained or torn, for example. If you aren't sure what would sell or be worth selling you can try searching the completed listings for the item to see how it's sold in the past. I'm always surprised at some of the things that will sell.

Just one tip.
If you are going to accept paypal make sure each and every package you sends has delivery confirmation. You can add the cost of delivery confirmation into your shipping charges.
If someone contacts paypal for a refund stating they haven't received their item the only proof paypal will take that you sent the package is with delivery confirmation.

Newer Gymboree kids clothing sell pretty well for me. You'd be surprised what sells on eBay.
