Newbie - Tips please?

My DSs (13 & 10) are HP fans and we're taking our first trip to Universal. We arrive next Tuesday pm, staying at RPH Club level so we can take advantage of early opening.

Has anyone got any tips for us - what time should we leave the hotel in the morning to get to the park in time for early opening? Will we have time to grab breakfast from the club lounge? What ride should we head for first? Apart from WWOHP is there anything else that is a "must see"? Any suggestions for lunch (DS13 is gluten free)? With the early closing times, is it worth taking a break in the same way as you would at WDW?

I would leave the hotel at about 7:20. I think the lounge opens at 7, so that should give you time to grab something. Walk over to IOA, don't wait for the boat. I would first go to Ollivander's and then Forbidden Journey and then Flight of the Hippogriff.
