Hi all, I am brand new to message boards, let alone this one, so bear with me. Just came back from our 1st Disney trip and I am addicted. We just bought a DVC resale (100 pts at OKW), we don't close until end of April, so I'm assuming I can't talk to MS until then, so I'm asking some questions now.
1. When can members that did not buy into AKV book ressies for fall of 2007 at AKV?
2. What's the deal with the II resorts? It seems that the most points one would ever use for a 1 bedroom is 160 for 7 nights. This seems like a really good deal, but nobody seems to book them that often. Am I missing something? What exactly is the process for booking an II resort? If I wanted to try to get into the Inn at Bay Harbor in Michigan sometime this summer, but I can't call until we close at the end of April, do I have a chance at all of getting it?
I guess that's it for now. I've been reading these boards daily since we got home from our trip and they have been so helpful as I've been struggling with the how's, why's and what's associated with buying into the DVC. Everyone's advice, opinions, and comments have been extremely appreciated. I'm sure this will not be my last post.
Thanks to all.
