Newbie: Posting Rules question

I see that many folks post pictures and attachments. Why am I not allowed to post attachments like pictures and other images? When I look at the bottom left side of the page while I am creating a thread, there is a box that states "You may not post attachments"

Also, how do I go about fixing this and be able to post pictures/images that I have in my PC document files? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Just keep posting to the DISBOARDS. You will gain the ability to post pictures, send private messages and post links as your post count gets higher.

I don't think they EVER let anyone post attachments.

Also as far as posting pictures, you can not link them directly from your computer. You have to put them on a public internet picture site such as photobucket or flickr, etc. then use the "image" link and paste that in your posts.

Most of us on the camping board use photobucket.

I think once you get to 75 posts you will be good to go.

You only need 10 posts before being allowed to post pictures. OP, you're already at 8 so go ahead and make 2 more and you're in business. As clkelly already said, you will have to upload them to a site such as photobucket and use the image codes to post here.
