Quick question... We closed on our resale contract in May and have received our online info from Disney and our deed paperwork from the broker/title company. Should we also be getting some type of new owner paperwork with rules/guidelines/maybe a planner? I know that many of those things are online, but I guess I expected something official from DVC.

Sorry, Disney only sends their welcome info to direct sales customers. It's their way of punishing you for being smart, and saving money by buying resale.
You will receive next years members mailings and new point chart info which will be effective on 1/1/11. We usually get them around 4/1/11.

I wouldn't call it "punishing". Why should they go to the expense to send out the same thing that they had already sent to the previous owner. I think it's up to the previous owner to forward these items or the resale broker, they made commission on the deal.
