Newbie On Board!

Hi Everyone,
I had been lurking (or pouring over) these pages for a couple of weeks now and decided to finally join in. What a great place this is!
The last time I was at Disney World was in 1984, with my first husband, and we were celebrating our 10th anniversary. The trip was a disaster because he didn't want to be there and preferred to spend most of our time at the hotel watching TV
I am now in the pre-planning stages of my next trip. My husband and I (different husband !! ) are going to be going Spetember 27th - October 4th. We want to stay at the Port Orleans Riverside (I stayed at the French Quarter the first time) and I know we will have a blast because he's just as excited about it as I am. He has never been to Disney, it is the first vaca we have ever taken, it's the honeymoon we never had and....yup, it's our 10th anniversary!
I'll be making our ressies in about 2 weeks so I will be scouring these boards some more to get the best tips and info I can.

How wonderful to be spending your anniversary in Disney.

Make sure you make your ADRs as soon as you are able. Especially if you want to have a nice, quiet, romantic dinner. Restaurants can get really booked up because of the Dining Plan.
