Hi! Reserved two rooms for 6 people. Arriving there in three weeks, and it is my first time. I am staying for four nights. Some questions that I need help on are:

1. Is AB better than Mansions? Plan to hit parks hard, so I might spend little time at resort.

2. Is there an order to the bus stops? Example, bus stops first at west, then on to north etc....

3. Do the rooms have coffee makers?

4. Stupid question but ... Do you check-in at the hotel or at an off-site centralized area. I was told by other vacationers and I'm not sure what the anwswer is.

Any tips would be appreciated. Our party
me, DW, DD5, DD2, (2) DILs of limited mobility. I picked POR since my in-laws stayed at CBR before. Just wanted to try something different.

Thanks, Scott

1. Is AB better than Mansions? Plan to hit parks hard, so I might spend little time at resort... We stayed at AB and were very happy there. We were in room 2723, which was next to a corner room.

2. Is there an order to the bus stops? Example, bus stops first at west, then on to north etc.... Not sure.. we were at the South stop. I know we were always the first to get off. There were times when we got on that there we people on before us, but we always got a seat from the resort to the parks.

3. Do the rooms have coffee makers? Not in our room. We had a hairdryer, and iron & ironing board.

4. Stupid question but ... Do you check-in at the hotel or at an off-site centralized area. I was told by other vacationers and I'm not sure what the anwswer is.
You check in on-site.

We had a great time there. We're going back in Oct. but staying at POFQ, unless I can get a great rate for WL!

When I was there last week, the bus stopped at the Blue Bayou/River Delta Platform by the lobby first, then the West Depot, then the North Depot, then the East Depot.

Which themed section is really personal choice. AB is cajun themed with timber type furniture and comforters that look like quilts. They also have trundle beds. In MB each building is a different mansion, the rooms have furniture very much in the sourthern style. The grounds are beautiful and there are many pools.
Here is a site with pictures. The room is in the AB section

This site has a picture of the MB room:

Sorry no coffee makers. You might consider purchasing the refillable mugs. They can be used for soda or coffee.

As for c/i you do that in the POR lobby, which is located at the resort. You will see pictures of that as well on the above sites.

There are no coffee makers in the room, but you can request one at no charge. They do charge for the coffee packs - although they did bring us one complimentary pack. We brought our own coffee - I really need my coffee first thing in the morning!

By the way, we also stayed in AB27 and loved the location.
