Does the Arcade games give out VMK codes?
And 1,000 codes for the sparrow suit. Guess That one is not in my near future!

Ah yes, but you could get lucky adn get it your first try, or your 100th try. I traded for a set of 50 codes from someone, and got the sparrow suit on my 9th code entered!

I began playing VMK with my 7 year old about 2 weeks ago. I have to help him with the typing and spelling. Well, a few days later I had to create my own character because I was totally in love with the game!

I hate to admit it but I am 35 years old! Please tell me there are some other 30 somethings out there playing too!

I am also asking for a bit of guiadance... Being new I don't have much stuff. The stuff I have is the basics of what you can buy. But I want to have some of that cool stuff! I never win cute or boot because I don't have some key things like dresses or crowns. I have tried to trade but no one wants my normal stuff... everyone is looking for rare! Well, how do I trade for rare if I don't have anything good to offer?

waa... I really want a crown! Do they offer them for purchase from time to time?

I am also Coriander in VMK. Try checking guest rooms titled " Seas ..." as that is what most people call me. Hope to see you in the game!

Welcome Team Disney! I am not quite yet in the 30 something category but getting there. I also don't have any kids though to blame my joining VMK and being addicted. If I hadn't met so many great friends on there (many of whom are older than me and some younger) I might not have stuck around but now I can't wait each night after work to get on and see my friends. I'm 37 and addicted too... I originally started playing with my DD6, but she's not that into it so I took over She likes to change the characters clothes and decorate the rooms.

I just started playing a few months ago and it was hard for me to accumulate items, but we went to Disney in May and I did the in-park quests. I started trading those items and am slowing building up my inventory. Also, don't forget to create a character (or 2, 3...) in the park.. you'll get the mouse ears and some other things. I also bought a few of the pirate pin sets and was lucky enough to get the bird hat and pirate furniture. You can buy these pins in the parks or can even order them from Disney merchandising and have them sent to your home - if you can't wait until August.

Chedsto- I am trying to get some family members on board... I believe they think I am crazy! Do you play with family members online. What an awesome way to interact with siblings, children and Grandchildren. I play at times with my neice and it would be nice to get my parents on board... how fun it would be for the grandchildren to walk the park with their grandpa & Grandma!

You guys and gals are all so nice! Ty for the great advice and comfort! I am begining to believe that there are more of us mature players then those in the teens.
I am keeping a list of all of you so if I can look for you on VMK.

I can't wait to do my in park quests, I already have a few printed out! Can you do a quest more then once over a few days? Or perhaps I can have each member of the family help to collect more codes? Is this possible? Do they limit? Oh and I just must make a character at the park. I so need some ears! Wish they had pink ears! That is what I have in real. As far as gold ears go...is it tru they are no longer available? bummer... that would go nicely with my bling shirt! lol

Welcome! and don't feel bad, I'm in the 35-44 age group when I started playing. Don't forget the ghosts in Haunted M, starting in the stretching room. There are 3 ghosts in each of the different rooms and you get 20 credits each everyday. You'll have to wait for them tho!

I stink at the games, the only way that I can consistently earn credits is doing the daily rounds. I'm still at level 1 for pirates. Right now there are weekend quests that you can finish and get 300 credits and an item (this month only I think). Check the event calendar on the VMK homepage for times.

Yes, you can play vmk at the park, but the mini games are almost impossible to play, so unless you are visiting with your friends, I wouldn't go on. The pins are located in many different locations all over property. They are for sale in vmk central (Main St. Cinema), and many other places, such as Downtown Disney. If you have any questions about WDW, feel free to pm me.

I'm 40 and new to the game. I found out about VMK last month while visiting the parks. We bought some hats for the kids and the clerk asked me if I played it. Unfortunately I lost the hat code, but we are going back in October so I can do some quests.

I'm having the hardest time getting the space suit. Everytime I enter the monorail to do the quest it crashes. Is it me or VMK?

It is you Seriously though, if you change your settings in the game to no sound you shouldn't crash in the music games anymore.
Be sure to uncheck the sound boxes.

The amount of times you can do the quest depends on your Park ticket .. if you are an annual pass holder then you can do the quests every 90 days (or is it 60?) If you have a Magic Your Way pass (any amount of days) then you only get to do it once. If you chose to purchase a new park ticket every day then you could do a quest every day.

Good news is that all of your family can participate and do their own quests .. not sure if they have an age limit on that, but they would at least have to have their own ticket

You can usually find me playing Ghosts or more recently Fireworks. But Ghosts is much better for the credits IMHO!
