Hello All,

We're leaving for FW on Friday for our first trip staying onsite. We're camping with 3 other families and we have another friend staying at a resort. I have a 31' TT, friend has a 29' TT, and other two friends have Pop ups. We're all registered as a grand gathering, for what it's worth and we all have preferred sites reserved.

When we called Disney yesterday to get some questions answered, we were told we could request a certain loop. Before we call back again, I have some questions for the experts.

1. Can we call and request a certain loop for all campers in the grand gathering?

2. Given the information above, what loops would you folks suggest?

3. Is it even possible to to have us all together or fairly close?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Steve

Hi! Welcome to the DIS! :cool1:

Since you are registered as a Grand Gathering, you should already be all in one loop. But you can certainly call FW and remind them that you want to be together.

I'm usually in a tent site, so I can't help with which loop would be best for you, but I'm sure other people here have opinions on it! :earsboy:

Have a great time!

Have you reserved a preferred site, or a regular hook up site? The price is different. That would determine which loops you could choose from in your request.

We've all reserved a preferred site.

Loops 100 and 200 are great, they are down close to the marina (boat to MK, Contemp or WL, Pioneer Hall, Trails End, Settlement trading post, playground) and the Settlement bus stop. You don't need a bus to get you to those 2 places. You will still need a bus to get to the OUtpost bus stop (I know Epcot is picked up from Outpost, I don't know about the others.)

You would also need to catch a bus to get to the Meadows Pool, it is quite a walk from 100/200. 1400 is closer to that, but also close to the Singalong/movie, so I don't know how much noise comes from that.

It really matters what you want to be close to - the marina or the pool.

We always request 100 or 200.

Thanks all for the input. We called today to get everything finalized and we're in loop 400. Only two more days and we're on our way...so darn excited we can hardly stand it!

WOO HOO!!!
