I was lucky enough to win a trip to Universal for 4days/3nights staying at RPR and I'm really excited. But I have some questions.
I've been reading about the FOTL access, but how do you use it?!LOL! I feel so dumb asking, but is there a different entrance for those staying on site with FOTL? Please explain like I'm a 3 yr old!LOL! Also I'm not a big thrill rider, so which rides should I avoid? I can handle ones like Earthquake and Back to the Future (rode them 12 yrs ago, last time I was there). Thanks for your help. We're going April 23rd.

You show your RPR room key to the person in front of any attraction. They will check the date (possibly scan the key), and admit you to the Express line. When you reach the front of the express line your room key will need to be shown again (and scanned if it wasn't already).

Repeat as necessary. ;) Your wait time should not exceed 20 mins under normal circumstances.

As for thrill rides to avoid, that depends on your definition. Big drops? Roller coasters? What do you classify as such?

So there is an attendent at the front of the attraction that we show our room key to...do we need to show 2 room keys if there are 2 of us? Well I probably can't do anything that would have big drops or goes upside down! Don't think my old tummy can take it!LOL! Thanks for the info on FOTL.

Each person must have their room key. Two of you, two room keys.

Big Drops to avoid: JP River Adventure (85ft), Doctor Doom's Fearfall(over 100ft), Ripsaw Falls (75ft)

Upsidedown- Hulk and Dueling Dragons

:)

JP River Adventure has a big drop, but my 4yo son didn't even realize it when I brought him recently (I didn't show him the big drop first).

The rides that he didn't do were the big coasters (Dueling Dragons and Hulk) and Dr Doom. I would think that everything else you should be fine with, and maybe even give Dueling Dragons a try if you are up to it. Make sure you go on Spiderman. It's a great ride.

Just look for the Express signs outside of each attraction. The person checking keys at that point will give you any special instructions if it's not obvious where to go.

Congrats on winning the trip!!! What kind of contest was it?

Congrats on winning your trip feel free to ask as many questions as u want no matter how silly they my seem theres always someone who has an answer:jester:

Thanks for all the info, I really appreciate it. And I'm sure I'll have more questions as time draws closer. I won the trip thru an instant win sweepstakes online. It was sponsered by Conagra who makes alot of the products in grocery stores. I think there was supposed to be about 50 grand prize winners from that sweep. Believe me it was a shock to see that Congratulation screen come up!LOL! This was my first trip win and I'm so glad it was to Universal. Thanks again for all your help and I'm sure I'll have some more questions before I leave.
