Newbie - Need Disney App Help

Hi everyone. Wondering if someone could give me some help. I have a late April holiday to Disneyland booked and I have purchased my tickets through a very well known and reputable outside company. I know how to link the tickets (I have instructions on how to do that) but I thought that within the Disney App or within my Disney account there was a place I was suppose to set up "My Party". I want to have my daughter and her tickets linked into my account, how do I do this. Does she need her own Disney account first? I just can't seem to see anywhere that allows me to set her up on my account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Any tickets you want linked to your account has to actually be linked to your account. There's no option to link another account and have those tickets linked.

DLR's app is not like WDW. You cannot connect accounts in the same way. But you can link all tickets across multiple accounts. You can each have your own account, though, with all tickets linked to both. You also won't have access to any PhotoPass linked to a different account unlike at WDW.

Creating a party is just selecting the tickets you want to do something for at the time you want to do the something (like pulling a virtual queue when those are offered). You don't create a party in advance.

I purchased our tickets directly through the official website and they were immediately linked to my account, including that of my child's. I know that isn't much help but just wanted to let you know that I didn't have to create a separate account for each person. All tickets are linked to my account.

Hopefully someone who has purchased through a third party can weigh in.
