Hello Everyone,

As you can tell I'm new here but have really been enjoying reading all the posts. Its been well over 10+ years since I last went to Disney and as I read I see a LOT has changed. Even more options than before (and it wasn't easy before!).

My question I'd like to ask is very simple.... List your top 3 restaurants. My only requirements are.... No character dinning (kids are too old for that now) and only interested in dinning within WDW, Epcot and/or the resorts.

Thanks in advance.....:thumbsup2

My top 3:
California Grill
Bistro d'Paris
Hollywood Brown Derby

For non signature:
Grand Floridian Cafe-lunch
Le Cellier-lunch or dinner
Tokyo dining- dinner

The best dinner show is Hoop Dee Doo.

Honorable Mentions: Sci Fi (can't beat the atmosphere), Boma, Saana, Liberty Tree lunch, Biergarten (tons of fun), The Wave, and Kona breakfast.

Honestly, I have very few "bad" meals at Disney and I have eaten at just about all of the restaurants. Sure I like some better than others, but none were really horrible with 2 notable exceptions, Hollywood and Vine lunch and Shutters at Carribean Beach, maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I'm not willing to give them another go.

Are dining credits a consideration?

2ts (all were superior to any of the 1ts below):
Yachtsman
LeCellier
HBD

1ts:
Tusker (Dinner)
Boma
Liberty Tree Tavern

Dining plan or not? IMO best places are not on the dining plan

Victoria & Alberts
bluezoo
Bistro de Paris

@Pakey

Agree with you on V&A, for some reason I never think to include it.

We are not planning on 'doing the dinning plan' so don't let that be a consideration. Thanks for the quick responses (you guys/girls are quick). Keep 'em coming.....

On our last, trip our favorite three meals were:
Le Cellier (either meal, but especially dinner)
Les Chefs de France (dinner)
Tutto Italia (lunch)

Honorable mention include the Biergarten and Rose & Crown. Primarily, we like the Epcot restaurants the best.

This could be hard!!! Only 3? We do hit some of the character meals, but outside of those I think I can come up with 3...

1. Biergarten - Epcot - we love the food selection and bit pints of beer. The stage show is an added aspect that makes it that much better. A word of caution though...you may sit with another family if you don't have a group of 8. This has never been a problem with us, but to some it is...

2. Whispering Canyon Cafe - Wilderness Lodge. This is a restraunt that gets varying reviews. We love the skillet of BBQ with so many different options.

3. Sci-Fi Drive in Theater - Hollywood Studios - We enjoy this because, yes it's cheesey with the old sci-fi flims going on, but it has old fashioned soda with cherry and vanilla flavoring and it offers a different atmosphere.

Places we plan to visit next time...

1. Le Cellier - Epcot - heard nothing but great things about the steaks and atmosphere.

2. Tokyo Dining - Epcot - we have to try their sushi and we will at some point...

3. Raglan Road - DTD - Parents and sister went this past year and said it was a great time with great food. We plan on trying it next year...

Boma AKL Best Breakfast Buffet IMO
Biergarten Germany Epcot Lunch or Dinner Buffet and Show
50's Prime Time DHS Lunch or Dinner Fantastic Meatloaf and good laugh
s

  1. Tony's a tradition
  2. DS & DD like Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
  3. LE Cellier

Boma Dinner (never had breakfast)
Kona Cafe' (any meal)
50's Prime Time for atmosphere and food quality

1. Le Celllier
2. Raglan Road
3. Biergarten
and because I couldn't leave it out because it was soooooooo good:
4. O'Hana (supper)
