Just got all my DVC stuff and numbers
used the web site to bank some old points
and coming up to my 11 month booking date.
looking for BCV in June 2010

Is there anyplace to check for room availiblity before I call MS?

Nope, no on-line bookings....yet. DVC is working on it. Maybe early next year.

Also a word of warning--when you call to check on availability, be prepared to book during that call if they have what you want. Some members occasionally make the mistake of calling to check and then hang up the phone to consult with friends or family. Availability is such a fluid thing that there is every possibility that the rooms quote available during that first call will be gone in a few days, hours or minutes later when you call back.

Get your proverbial ducks in a row before the call. Set your dates and have your mental list of resort priorities in order. Save yourself both time and aggravation by booking during that first call.

The only place to check availability is here online on the DVC resort availability boards. They are not 100% accurate, but it might give you an idea (although June 1'st just opened today, so not sure there would be any detail in there yet).

I think if you are booking at 11 months out, you should have a very good chance. If not, you can always waitlist for it.

Considering today is July 1, only BCV members booking for June 1-8 would have booked so far today. Everything is available for June 8-30 because nobody can book those dates yet. Nobody. There should be lots of availability for June 1 - 8 still.
