Newbie here.....

Hello fellow members....joined the vacation club on the Magic in May.....just paid the dues for the rest of the year and when we bought in we paid cash so there would be no loan payments...(home equity loans save a lot of money)....so we are set to go home on September 8th.....first time in a studio in BCV....we are flying into Orlando at arriving about 10:30 in the morning....would probably get home about noon....what are the chances that our room would be ready.....and are there any suggestions of a room we should request for the best view? I hate checking in and then having to run back because the room is not ready.....although if it happens it is the way it has to be.....anyway....less than 7 weeks until we come home for 3 nights....and then 3 nights on the Wonder.......

I checked into the BCV about three weeks ago at 8AM and got a room that was ready right away. We have also checked in later in the morning or afternoon and we didn't get a room right away. Just ask when you check in if any rooms are ready that you might get. We like the pool view, plus you can see the Villagator if you are lucky from your balcony. You'll love your stay at the BCV.

Your odds are probably 50/50 of the room being ready. Also, the room that meets your requests might not be ready and they might offer you an alternate view/location if immediate checkin is more important.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/beachclub As others have said, asking for a specific room and getting it is slim. This will give you an idea of “sectional views”.

WE never worry too much about the room being ready. We expect it to be at least 4, since that is the check in time. We just go pre-check in when we arrive and then hit the parks. They give you a card with a number on it so you can call and check when your room is ready. We usually have a car, so we go do our grocery run AFTER we actually get into the room.

This is great information! So far, I have the floor plan w/room numbers for VWL and now this room specific comment information for BCV. Any information such as this for OKW or BWV out there?
