Hi Guys,

We've just got back from Disney (Florida) and I have the bug again! It's DH's 40th in April and I now have an idea that we could go to DLRP for a few days??

I would love to stay at the Disneyland hotel but I wonder if you could give me any more info on the rooms. We have 2 LO's and when we go abroad have always rented a villa since having them. We like to be able to put them to bed and still be able to watch some tv etc etc. Could you advise on which type of room we would be best to go for if we would like a little more 'living space' and where I might find the best prices??

I realise this is the most expensive hotel and so I guess any type of suite would be out of the question?!! Just wondering what exactly is available?

Anyhow, hope you can help me and look forward to getting to know you all!

Hey and welcome :)
There will be lots of people who can advise on the DLH who have stayed there etc.

Thanks Emma :goodvibes

Should also say that I am open to suggestions about where to stay, I *think* I would like to stay at the Disneyland hotel but could easily be swayed!!!! Would like the hotel to be walking distance to the parks, is this the case with most, all or none of them???

All of them except the Davy Crockett you can walk from the park to. There are shuttle buses from all hotels except DC that take you to the park aswell.
The buses run every 10-15mins.

What time of the year are you thinking of going?

Hi Ali and welcome to the DLP boards :goodvibes

This thread will tell you all there is to know about the Disneyland Hotel and rooms www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=327847

What a great place to go for your DH 40th. The hotel is situated right at the opening to the park so you are very close to the magic :goodvibes

DLP is different from WDW with their onsite hotels as you can walk to the parks easily

At the top of the board you will see threads on all the other hotels which will give you plenty of info

Any other questions just ask :goodvibes
