We are going to Orlando in late July tagging along on hubby's business trip. We'll have 2 days for Disney stuff, there is so much information out there, I'm overwhelmed! So, I'm here asking the Disney pros for help. DD 11 isn't much of a rides person, he likes some, but not all day, so I've crossed out Magic Kingdom. I'm thinking Epcot one day, and Animal Kingdom for the other??What tickets should I buy?? We won't be park hopping, but I would like to get the fast pass! ;)

You can buy either two one day tickets or a two-day Magic Your Way ticket. You would save some money on the two day I think. You have said you don't want park hopping so get base tickets. If you are not staying at a Disney resort you can make Fastpass + reservations at 30 days prior to your arrival, so long as you have a My Disney Experience account AND you have park admission linked to that account.

Might go Epcot and Hollywood Studios if for no other reason than the recently announced Frozen experiences that will be taking place at HS this summer.

Sometimes the company doing the trip gets lesser cost tickets as well. Those 2 and 3 day are so very costly.

I don't think I would eliminate Magic Kingdom if this is your first trip. There is so much to see there and "feel" there that for me it is must not miss! I would do that and Hollywood Studios unless the shopping in the World Showcase appeals to you both.

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't skip MK... it is the most "Disney"... heck some people even refer to Magic Kingdom AS Disney! :lmao:

If I were planning two days with an eleven year old I would pick Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Both have plenty to do for a full day and also include night-time fun like fireworks (Wishes & Illuminations) plus good food and rides that aren't crazy rides (lots of family friendly rides). Magic Kingdom has the best selection of choices for types of attractions and Epcot the best choice for food!
