Hi! This is my firts post here.
I'm going to Disneyworld next february and I need advice on where to eat and, more important, how to make reservations online. I'm from Argentina, so I can't phone from here. It's a matter of $$$ and my spoken english is not soooo good.
So, any advice is welcome!!!
Thanks in advance!
Bettina
Hola, Bettina. Bienvenidos!
The others have already answered your question about making reservations, so I will just tell you some of my favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World.
IMPORTANT TIP: Remember that you can eat in any resort restaurant, even if you are not staying there. You are not limited to just the resort where you are staying, and not limited to just the parks.
1) Dinner at 'Ohana in the Polynesian Resort. 'Ohana is my favorite place to eat at WDW. 'Ohana is "family style", which means that everyone gets the same meal, but you can eat as much as you want, as many helpings as you want. My favorite part at 'Ohana is the dessert - it's the best dessert I've ever had at WDW. Be sure to save room for it!

2) Dinner at Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge. Boma is a buffet - self-serve, all you can eat - and it serves African-inspired foods. There is a very large variety of foods at Boma, so you can try a little of many different dishes. One of my favorites is the prime rib. There are some very good desserts at Boma, too, so save room. TIP: Plan on spending some time walking around Animal Kingdom Lodge either before or after dinner to explore. It's a beautiful place, with a savanah where you can view live animals, and a lobby that is beyond magnificent.

3) Lunch at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop, U.K. pavilion, Epcot World Showcase. Yorkshire is just fish and chips. That's all, nothing else. But they are delicious, and I enjoy eating them either while looking at the World Showcase Lagoon, or while listening to the band British Invasion, which plays live in a courtyard on the other side of the U.K. pavilion.
4) Breakfast at Kona Cafe, Polynesian Resort. Kona serves a great breakfast, in a great resort. My favorite is Tonga Toast, which is French toast stuffed with banana slices.

5) Lunch at the Dolphin Fountain, Dolphin hotel outside Epcot's International Gateway entrance. The Swan and Dolphin hotels, and the restaurants in them, are not owned by Disney, so you can't use Dining Plan credits there or charge to your room. But the Fountain is a terrific place for a sandwich or burger, and it's rarely crowded.

6) Dinner at Chef Mickeys, Contemporary Resort. Chef Mickeys is a buffet, and a character meal, with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. The food is great, and the characters are a lot of fun, even for adults.
