Newbie here - need help!

We took the DVC tour in July when we were there and loved it. Unfortunately, we can't afford to buy DVC right now, but are planning a trip in December. We are a family of 6 and are bringing Mom and Sis. A 2-bedroom villa would be perfect, but after reading other posts, it looks like there aren't any available in December. Would someone please check to see if there are any 2-bedrooms available for Dec 4-9, then I can go about seeking to rent points. Otherwise, I'll have to look into other options. Also, if none are available now, do you think some might become available? Maybe people might cancel reservations, or Disney might open more rooms to DVC members? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much, Christine. My first choices would be to stay at the BWV or BCV so we could be close to the parks. At this point, however, I think anywhere we can get a 2-bdrm villa would be great.

Oh well - thanks for checking. I really appreciate it. I guess we'll have to look into 2 connecting rooms somewhere. I guess I'll have to plan a little further in advance next time.

I went to Allears to check out OKW and wasn't too impressed with some of the reader reviews. This will be my Mom and sisters 1st visit to Disney since 1985 and I want them to experience the "Disney Magic". I thought staying in the Epcot resort area would be really great. Would you be able to tell me if BWV or BCV are available for any length of time between 12/2 and 12/8. I was thinking we could do a split stay - maybe start out at POP and then go somewhere else for a few days. Please let me know if you find any availability - even for only a few days.

The only 2bd avail is Boardwalk standard view 12/2 and Boardwalk view 12/3
