Newbie from TN!

Hi! I've been lurking on the boards for a little while now, and I want to thank you all for so much help you've already given me! My DH, DD, and I will be heading to WDW in Sept. (free dining included )... This will be my DH and DD's (who will be 16 months at the time) first trips... It will be my 3rd trip, but I haven't been since 1998! It's long overdue!! Nice to meet everyone!

Hi everyone,

I am from Chicago and have been reading the boards for a bit hoping for some advice... I'm kind of panicking actually.

Long story short - my DH and I are taking my DM, DS and DD (5.5) and DS (7 months) to WDW on NOVEMBER 25!! Why did I pick that time? I am beginning to wonder. Actually, it is because I just lost my dad completely unexpectedly and suddenly 3 months ago and Thanksgiving was always "our" holiday - he taught me how to make gravy when I was 6 (many many moons ago )and had been teaching my DD these past couple of years. I just wanted to be away from reality as much as I could this 1st year I guess.

Anyway, we are going for a week and I am reading how completely insane it is. We have gone in 2003 and 2005, so I am familiar with what we want to do: MK and then Epcot (we spend alllotttt of time in MK )

Can anyone tell me would it be better to go to Pooh's breakfast - the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or sometime after? I hear Thanksgiving is crazy.

Like I said, I am feeling I made a mistake with the crowds, the lines etc. ANY advice would be helpful. We are staying off property this time - just outside the parks. Thank you

Whichever day you can get an ADR for!

Whichever you do, if the reservation is not for before park opening or at park opening, still get there first thing and hang out until the reservation. If you find the MK too busy once you are done, I would suggest (if you have park hoppers) heading to a different park the rest of the day.
