Going to BWV for the first time and have learned so much reading this board, but I still have a couple of questions.

First, we are scheduled to arrive at BWV on a Saturday. We are driving in and will have a car full of luggage. we plan on staying in the area Friday night and then checking in early on Sat. Ok here is the question. We are picking up friends at the airport around 11 a.m. and just realized we probably won't have room in the car for them and their luggage with our stuff, so do we stay near disney offsite and then drop our stuff at BWV( I know it will be too early for a room) then head to the airport? or something else? If so, where would a good fairly inexpensive place to stay on Friday that is fairly close to Disney?

I know they could take Disney Express, but we would really rather pick them up.

Thanks,
g.r.

If you are talking about leaving your luggage at BWV Saturday, your check in day, that should not be a problem. When you arrive you can check in and leave your luggage with bell services even though your room more than likely will not be ready. We have done this in the past....got there early left our bags and went to the parks. Once the room was ready they called my cell phone.

I'd just check in at BWV early...leave your luggage at guest services and then go pick up your friends. When you get back from the airport with your friends, if your room is still not ready, just leave their luggage in the car and head out to a park. You can call and find out when your room is ready, and then go back to the resort to accept your bags from bell services.

We usually use Priceline or Hotwire for a room near WDW the night before we check in. We bid on 2 1/2 star properties or better and have always had great luck.

You could also stay at Pop or All Stars which would make for a very easy and quick drive to BWV. Keep an eye out for special rates, I got a AAA discount last year for around $79, or was it an AP discount? I can't recall, but you get the idea.

And if you stay at an on-site Disney resort on Friday night they will transfer your luggage to BWV for you on Saturday ( and BWV bell services will hold your luggage as pp here have said ). :)
